Dickie and his wife Pat returned to Jonesboro, Arkansas Donald, his wife Mary Carolyn, from Manchester, TN and Delphia, her husband Roger, from Murfreesboro, TN stayed in Portageville. After checking out places where they used to live, the river, and the cemetery the two couples enjoyed an extremely tasty dinner at Billy's.

Early the next morning Delphia was at Judy Wilson Wade's home. Judy, her brother John, Gail Ellis Dial and Delphia all grew up together on that one block of 3rd street. Time went by too fast, soon it was 1:00 and after much laughter, talk, and hugs it was time to leave.

That evening, Jessica and Greg Gee, their children Hannah and Jaxson ,from Blytheville, Arkansas arrived to have dinner with the Andersons at Billy's. Jessica is Roger and Delphia's grand-daughter and Hannah and Jaxson are their great grand-daughter and great grand-son.

All in all the visit to Portageville was wonderful. We three grew up there, went through and graduated from the Portageville School system. Have good friends we still keep in touch with. Portageville in the 40's, 50's, and 60's was the greatest town to grow up in and I am proud to call it my home town.
