The New Madrid County R-1 School District will be conducting their annual "Open House" at each site in the district. The goal of this annual event is to help strengthen the relationship between the school and the community. Parents will have the opportunity to meet their child's teachers, become familiar with the curriculum and discuss requirements for individual classes. Faculty and Administration will also be on hand to answer any questions that you may have. Freshman Orientation will be held at the Central High School on Thursday, July 31st from 6:30-8:00pm. Open House at Central Middle School is scheduled for Monday, August 11th from 6:00-7:30pm. New Madrid Elementary, Lilbourn Elementary and Matthews Elementary are scheduled for Tuesday, August 12th from 6:00-7:30pm and Central High School and Technical Skills Center on Thursday, August 21st from 6:00-7:30pm.
