BENTON -- Scott County voters will pick one of five ballots to vote in Tuesday's primary election.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. till 7 p.m.
Identification is required to vote Tuesday, according to County Clerk Rita Milam. Forms of ID that will be accepted at the polls include: a voter ID card, driver's license, Missouri student ID, utility bill, bank statement or a paycheck that has the name and address of the voter on it.
Ballot choices will be: Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Constitutional and Non-Partisan, according to Milam.
Sample ballots will be available at the voting precinct to review before choosing one, according to Milam.
"Please tell the election judges which party ballot you wish to vote," she asked.
Milam also urged all voters to review their ballot before voting it to make sure it is the correct ballot for the party they wanted.
If it is not the right one, the voter should then ask the election judges to exchange it for the ballot they want, she said.
Milam also assured that choosing and voting a party's ballot does not register the voter into that party.
"It is not recorded anywhere what party ballot you choose," she said.
