CARUTHERSVILLE -- Police are investigating a disturbance that took place in Caruthersville on Wednesday night.
According to the Caruthersville Police Department, officers took two reports of a group of black males walking and throwing rocks at vehicles, causing damage to the vehicles between 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday.
One incident occurred at East 13th Street and Franklin and the other occurred behind the Hide-Away Lounge on Walker Avenue.
One female was assaulted when trying to confront the suspects and there was also a report of the same group of males setting a trash can on fire and placing it in the roadway at East 13th Street and Vest.
