Beasley sworn in as Portageville Postmaster

Sandra Beasley was officially sworn in as the Postmaster of the Portageville Post Office. The installation ceremony took place last Thursday, Aug. 21, at 1 p.m., in the lobby of the Post Office. Manager of Post Office Operations, Mark T. Montgomery, conducted the ceremony. Beasley's daughter, Jacorri, at right held the Bible.

Beasley is no stranger to the U.S. postal system. Her career began as a clerk in the New Madrid Post Office in 1993. From there, she has been worked in the Lilbourn, Charleston, and East Prairie offices. She also worked in Sikeston as a postal supervisor in 2004.
