Local dentist to be remembered at dedication ceremony

On Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 10:30 am (prior to the PHS softball game), the Portageville Softball Field will be dedicated to an eminent person that has had a tremendous amount of influence in the community. Dr. James A. Deere has been a great inspiration to many people and organizations. He was a man of integrity and honor. He and his family had a great impact on this town and school's softball organizations. This dedication is just a small token to show how much he is greatly appreciated and loved and will be dearly missed. We would love for all who would like to come, join us at the softball field to show your appreciation toward Dr. James A Deere.
