It's time to make your plans to attend the legendary 84th Annual MO/Mid-South Gospel Singing Convention to be held on Friday and Saturday, September 19 and 20, at the Malden, MO Community Center located on Business Highway 25 Douglas Street) in front of the school and just south of Wal-Mart.

This event will begin at 5:00 p.m. each evening with at least 16 premiere, award-winning groups and artists from several states and some direct from the Branson stage, providing exciting, powerful Gospel music and amazing fellowship that you won't want to miss.

The Masters of Ceremonies for the event will be Wendell Johnson from St. Mary's, MO and Chris Deddens from Love and Compassion Radio, Carmel, IN.

The line-up for both evenings is nothing short of stellar. Friday evening will feature: Heartland Qt.; Eldon Wright from Kansas; Kit Scott & Friends; Mark Cave; Richmonds Qt.; Tina Sadler; Gladheart Qt.; Gloryland Qt.; Anita French-Kidd-Stahl; In His Name; Martin Goode; Canaanland Gospel Singers; Darrell & Nemra Rhoden; Ta Marie and Cindy Keeley.

Saturday evening will feature: The Krepps Sisters; Joyful Noise (Bertrand); Ta Marie; Glory Road Travelers; Pastor Pudge & Miss Alta; Wendell Johnson; Final Journey Qt.; Joyful Noise Bloomfield; Marvin & Karen Lawless; Touched By the Master Qt.; Heart to Heart; Marsha Sue Mitchell; Jennifer Krepps; Full Circle; Belinda Clark; Liberty Belles and Danny Norman.

All of these groups are great! Several are from Branson, many are from at least 7 surrounding states and all of them share the love and joy for Jesus in their music and in their walk. We have national and international singing and song writing award winners to present the best in Gospel music. You don't want to miss this blessing. Church groups are encouraged to bring a van or busload. Friends, invite your family and friends. Event promoters bring your calendars and media bring your cameras and microphones- and by the way, come hungry! The Malden Chamber of Commerce will be providing concessions both evenings.

There will be door prizes, a silent auction and chances to talk to your favorite groups and have photo-ops. What better way to spend a weekend than in the midst of roof-raising Gospel music. RV hookups are available at the Malden Airport and hotel rooms are available in Malden and surrounding communities, but you need to reserve these now- space will be limited.

This singing convention is free and open to the public. A love offering will be taken each evening to offset expenses of the event. It's a piece of history- don't miss it!
