Charleston Middle School students gathered Sept. 24 for the annual "See You At The Pole" event at the school. The participated in the gathering of Christian students at the flagpole for prayer before school started. Around 50 CMS students joined the thousands nationwide. CMS students included Isaiah Gillespie (7th Grade) who said "it was great to be there with all my friends." Arturo Biles (7th Grade) explained that they started as one big group prayer, and then broke into smaller groups to pray. Among the SYATP leaders were Dezhane Lewis and Madelynn Stewart, both 8th Graders. "It was exciting," said Dezhane, and Madelynn followed up: "We don't get to do this everyday." (Submitted Photo)
