No parking = no parking

I have been to visit my ailing grandmother several times during the month of September at Missouri Delta Medical Center. While coming and going, I had noticed on several occasions two different vehicles parked in front of the building instead of the actual visitor parking. At first it didn't seem to be a big deal. But as I continue to visit and the same two vehicles continue to use this as their personal parking space, the more bothersome it became, to say the least. One day while parking my vehicle, around 6:30 p.m., one of the vehicles pull up and park in front of the door and get out along with her passenger - an employee of the hospital and her husband. I wait. And wait. And wait. I waited 30 minutes and decided my family was more important. As I am going to visit I see these two visiting their own family. They were there to visit their family and used the front door as their personal parking lot. And on more than one occasion, both had vehicles there. There is visitor parking for a reason. People, that is for dropping off and picking up, not for lazy people who are capable of walking across the parking lot. You're no better than the rest of us. I work all day and then go sit with my grandmother. I still walk across the parking lot. You should be ashamed. There is no excuse. And if the hospital would pull the cameras, they would see it as well.

Power point

I just read in speakout where someone doesn't know the difference between the power plant in New Madrid and Noranda. Says they are gonna lay off 200 people if they don't get their rate reduced. The power plant produces power. Noranda Aluminum produces aluminum, folks. They said they would hire people after the first of the year, but at a lower wage with not as many benefits. They're not hurting that much. Evidently this person must be on the other side of the planet not to know the difference between Noranda and the power plant. What you need to do ma'am or sir, is get your head out of that warm spot in your body cavity and look around a little bit and read.

Hot dogs in the cornfield

I know you probably won't print this, but I sincerely hope you do. I know for a fact that there is a small town nearby that when they pick up the stray animals, they keep them for a few days and then dump them off in a cornfield. This is very inhumane and I am very upset that you could be so callous. This was done in the heat of the summer to one small chihuahua and one large dog. I want to say shame on you. Quit telling people you are taking them to the shelter because you know that's not true. We are doing all that we can to expose you.
