Robbery suspect arrested

CHARLESTON -- A robbery suspect was tracked to a nearby business where he was arrested.

Richard Ware, 41, of Charleston is charged with one count of robbery and two counts of burglary in connection with an armed robbery reported at 11:55 p.m. Sunday at the Flying J Travel Center, 2460 E. Marshall St. in Charleston.

According to a news release from Charleston DPS Director Robert Hearnes, the initial investigation indicated following the robbery the suspect fled the area on foot crossing East Marshall Street (US Highway 60/62).
