Mississippi County man faces assault, weapons charges

CHARLESTON - A man accused of threatening two individuals with a gun is scheduled to appear in court today.
John Buck Miller, 35, of Bertrand, is to be arraigned on the felonies of second degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon before Associate Judge S. Rob Baker at 9:30 a.m. today, according to Missouri Case.net.
Mississippi County Sheriff Keith Moore reported the investigation began the evening of Jan. 28 when Deputy David Watkins was dispatched to a disturbance in Anniston. Upon his arrival, Watkins met with two residents whom reportedly were threatened at gun point by Miller.
