At approximately 1:50 p.m. Thursday, a single-vehicle accident resulted in injuries to at least two persons. The westbound vehicle went off the roadway on Highway 60 into the median, just in front of the Missouri State Highway Patrol substation, and reportedly overturned. Two people were taken from the scene by ambulance. No further information was available from the Sikeston Department of Public Safety as of press time. (Jill Bock, Staff)
