Dexter finishes seventh, Sikeston 11th at Poplar Bluff Invitational

POPLAR BLUFF -- The Dexter golf team took seventh place while Sikeston finished 11th at the Poplar Bluff Invitational at Westwood Hills Country Club Monday.

Conditions were poor with wind and rain ravaging the par-71 course.

Ethan Stevens led Dexter with a score of 78 while tying for 13th overall. Dexter's Gavin White and Advance's Brian Whitson each tied for 22nd with scores of 83.

Bloomfield's Peyton Bell tied for 26th with a score of 84 with the Wildcats finishing ninth out of 18 teams.

Sikeston's Gabe Wheeler finished 32nd with an 86.
