Mistake caught my eye

I am the nitwit who commented on the New Madrid County Central announcements for this year. I have been called worse things than nitwit, but I have to respond this time. If you had read my comment regarding the graduation announcement closely you would realize that I only spoke of the large print on the outside of the announcement, the one I and most everyone else would see first. Yes, smaller print on the inside was correct, but the largest and most eye-catching line definitely only said New Madrid High School. If yours says otherwise in the large, elegant print, that's good news. It means the school reprinted it and I obviously got an earlier copy, but I doubt it. I have my copy and would be glad to share it. It might be nice to hear from the administration on this one.

A Nixon fan

Hooray for Gov. Jay Nixon. He got rid of the Republican right vote. He should be given a big medal in saving the people of Missouri from being on starvation. Of course I know the man who owns the Standard Democrat, he thinks that everybody should starve because he's a Republican. What we should do is quit buying that rag and he could find out what it is to starve. You people support Jay Nixon whenever you can.
