Steele man wanted on murder charge turns self in to police

Man charged in murder of 30-year-old Hayti man who was shot, killed July 3

ARUTHERSVILLE -- A Steele man wanted in connection with the murder of another Pemiscot County man turned himself in to authorities early today.

Ratio Frederick Armour, 26, turned himself in to the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Office about 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Armour is charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the July 3 murder of 30-year-old Larry Turner of Hayti.

Armour appeared in Pemiscot County Circuit Court Thursday and was arraigned on the charges. He requested a change of judge, and the next court date has not been set at this time. 
Armour is being held in the Pemiscot County Jail without bond.
