MARSTON -- An explosion, reportedly caused when molten aluminum came in contact with water, blew a hole in the roof of the cast house at Noranda Aluminum Co. around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Local emergency response units and Noranda's on-site emergency response team quickly arrived on the scene. Noranda spokesman John Parker said the approximately 20 workers in the area where the explosion occurred were quickly accounted for and there were no life-threatening injuries...

MARSTON -- An explosion, reportedly caused when molten aluminum came in contact with water, blew a hole in the roof of the cast house at Noranda Aluminum Co. around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Three persons were taken by ambulance from the scene.
