PORTAGEVILLE -- Although the lights were on the field, and despite the efforts of the Portageville Bulldogs, it was not enough to control the Piggott Mohawks.

"I'm really upset because we didn't get effort," Bulldogs' head coach Jeff Bullock said. "You have to play with heart, especially when you're undersized like us. If you aren't willing to stick a helmet in, it's going to be tough to win football games.

"That's what happened tonight."

"We knew all night what they were going to do," Bullock said. "They ran four plays the whole night, yet we chose not to stop it. We had guys that weren't willing to stick a helmet in there and hit people.

"At the end of the night it's tackle football, not flag football. If we aren't willing to tackle, a team runs four plays and we won't stop them."
