VOLLEYBALL

PORTAGEVILLE -- Adrienne Duncan had three kills as the Bulldogs wrapped up Bootheel Conference regular-season play with a win at home over the Caruthersville Tigers, 25-19 and 25-9 Tuesday.

Amanda Moody served seven aces for Portageville (9-4-1, 6-1 Bootheel Conference).

The Bulldogs begin pool play in the Gideon Invitational Tournament on Thursday against Hayti, Risco and Delta C-7 (Deering).

Caruthersville fell to 3-10 overall and 0-4 in the conference.

SOFTBALL

PORTAGEVILLE -- Taylor Tiffany struck out 16 and walked none on her way to a no-hitter as Portageville downed Neelyville 6-0 at home Tuesday.

Alexis Glidewell had two hits for Portageville (14-1), including a double. Cayla Crafton added a double as well.

Neelyville (5-5) pitcher Kylee Hart threw a complete game giving up three earned runs on four hits and seven walks. She also struck out two.
