Gideon man dies in head-on crash

GIDEON -- A Gideon man was fatally injured in a head-on collision that occurred at 1:09 p.m. Monday in Pemiscot County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Clemis S. Musgrave, 21, of Gideon was traveling north on Route B, one-half mile north of Highway 412, when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck the southbound tractor-trailer driven by Cleo Brown, 53, of Hayti.

Musgrave was pronounced dead at 2:27 p.m. at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital by Dr. Abdullah Arshad. This is the 46th fatality in Troop E this year.
