Portageville High School Volleyball teams have been recognized for the past several years as being Outstanding in the Classroom by the Missouri High School Activites Association. This year is no exception.

Junior Varsity was recognized by the Missouri High School Activities Association for Outstanding Performance in the Classroom.  Teams must have a grade point average from 3.25-4.00 to qualify.

Two players were recognized for excellence in the classroom by being named Academic All State in High School Volleyball. To qualify, a player must be a senior, have a cumulative GPA above 3.6 and play in at least 75% of the Varsity matches. Both these players qualified for the award.
