SIKESTON -- A Puxico woman was seriously injured at 10:55 a.m. Thursday in a two-vehicle accident three miles east of Morehouse.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Jimmie G. Lawrence, 81, of Dexter was eastbound on Highway 60, failed to yield to oncoming traffic and struck the westbound vehicle driven by Karen A. Franklin, 61, of Puxico.
