CHARLESTON -- A woman who fled arrest in Kentucky is now facing charges in Missouri.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. March 2 for Lillian Leshone Scott, 38, of Paducah, Ky., on the misdemeanors of resisting arrest and the felony of delivery/ possession/ concealment of a controlled substance at/within a county jail. In addition, Scott is charged with the misdemeanors of careless and imprudent driving and driving while intoxicated, according to Missouri Case.net.

According to Mississippi County Sheriff Keith Moore, Scott was apprehended by Ballard County, Ky., deputies after fleeing their jurisdiction and having a wreck in Mississippi County.

Scott was taken into custody at the accident scene by a Mississippi County deputy and taken to the Mississippi County Detention Center. During intake, Moore reported, corrections officers found contraband she had concealed.

As of press time, Scott remains in the Mississippi County Detention Center with bond set at $25,000.
