County Republicans elect delegates

Only a handful of New Madrid County Republicans met last Saturday, April 9th, at the New Madrid County Courthouse. The reason for the meeting was to elect six delegates to represent New Madrid County in the District Republican Caucus in Poplar Bluff on Saturday, April 30. The caucus will be held at Three Rivers College. They also had to elect up to six alternate delegates. Five were selected. The New Madrid County Republican delegates will also represent the county at the State Republican Convention. This will be held in Branson on a two-day event, Friday and Saturday, May 20-21. The six delegates for New Madrid County are Donna Randen, Sharon Medlin, Dan Silvers, Georgia Ivy, Gene Myracle, and Bob LeValle.
