Portageville Cheer team win awards at cheer camp

The Portageville High School cheerleaders attended the UCA Cheer Camp at Southeast Missouri State University The camp was held June 12-15.

The 2016-2017 PHS Cheer Squad received several team and individual awards:

-Camp Champions; -Sideline Cheer award; -Superior Squad; and Spirit Stick.

Maisie Hall competed with close to 100 hopefuls, performing a jump skill, UCA Cheer and Dance. She was honored to be selected for UCA All American. Hall received an All American Medal and invitation to UCA Event & opportunity to perform at London's New Year's Day Parade.

Individual Awards to Destinee Adams-Jump Off Finalist;

Kelsie Jones-Dance Champion; and

Brenna Corbett, Briana Jones and Maisie Hall all received the Pin It Forward Pin.

This is awarded to girls for outstanding leadership, commitment, kindness, dedication to not just their squad but to others as well.
