Alan Scheeter has resigned as Sikeston's head baseball coach after five seasons. Scheeter, who confirmed his departure by text on Thursday, will remain at the school and as part of the Sikeston football coaching staff. The 1991 Sikeston graduate took over the baseball program after serving 15 years as an assistant under longtime coach Kevin Self in 2012. Scheeter has a career coaching record of 74-47 and made one appearance in a district championship game in 2013...
