Nora Ann Flowers, 85

Nora Ann Flowers was born March 6, 1931 in LaForge, MO to Bedford Robinson and Eva (Willis) Robinson. She died Thursday, August 25, 2016 in Cape Girardeau at the age of 85 years, 5 months and 18 days.

Nora was united in marriage July 15, 1950 in Sikeston to Edward E. Flowers, who preceded her in death February 14, 2012. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Bedford and Eva; two brothers, Glen Henry Robinson who died as an infant, and Bedford Robinson, Jr.; and one sister, Dorothy Jean Robinson.

Nora was a member of the First Church of God of Portageville. She enjoyed reading and loved watching and playing along with the game channel.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Pam (John) Welter of Cape Girardeau; one son, Greg (Suzanne) Flowers of Prescott, AZ; two brothers, Ron (Linda) Robinson of Godfrey, IL, and Bruce (Lucretia) Robinson of Alton, IL; two sisters, Alma (June) Teeter of Steele, and Jane Motschenbacher of Flushing, MI; two grandchildren, Tim Flowers, and Debbie Flowers; two step-grandchildren, Samantha Welter, and Trevor Welter; three great-grandchildren, Alex Purdem, Kailen Flowers, and Freya Flowers; and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Nora was held Sunday, August 28, 2016. The funeral service was Monday, August 29 at the First Church of God with Rev. Bob Kespelher officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were David Teeter, Glen Teeter, R.D. Robinson, Stephen Robinson, Damon Robinson, and Garth Motschenbacher.
