NEW MADRID, Mo. - Police followed the instructions on the door mat.

New Madrid Police Chief Joey Higgerson reported the arrest of the four after a search warrant was served at a residence on Mill Street following a months-long investigation.

The instructions on the mat on the front step of the residence, Higgerson noted, said "Come back with a warrant." Officers arrived with a search warrant March 1 at the residence and began their search.

According to Higgerson inside the house officers located suspected methamphetamine, prescription medication, drug paraphernalia including pipes and scales, cash and two firearms.

Michael Shane Sullivan was arrested on felony charges of delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid, possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid and unlawful use of a weapon.

Whitney Dawn Hill, Tiffany Michelle Jones and Tina Renee Hall are each charged with the felonies of delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid and felony unlawful use of a weapon.

Sullivan, Hill and Jones are being held without bond at the Pemiscot County Jail. Bond for Hall is set at $25,000.

The New Madrid County Sheriff's Department assisted in the arrest.
