NEW MADRID, Mo. -- Kasten Campbell blasted a two-run home run to center in the top of the seventh to give the East Prairie baseball team a 7-5 win over New Madrid County Central Tuesday in New Madrid, Mo.

Campbell also earned the pitching win after throwing the last two innings and giving up one hit while striking out four.

Starter Coby Hubbert allowed five runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks while striking out seven in five innings and 103 pitches.

Luke Marcum led East Prairie (7-3) with three hits. Jack Scruggs and Harrison Moore each doubled.

NMCC (3-4) didn't get much help from their defense committing eight errors on the day.

Jared Reed got the loss for NMCC after giving up Campbell's homer. NMCC starter Thailin Marsh allowed five runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk while striking out seven in five innings and 75 pitches.

Palmer Campbell led NMCC with two hits, including a double.

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Nate Dillinger went 3 for 4 with seven RBIs to lead the undefeated Mules past Charleston for the 10th straight win.

Bernie (10-0) had 17 hits as a team and exploded for seven runs in the top of the seventh to take the 10-run win.

Corbin Hunt picked up the win after two innings of relief work.

Blake Simmons threw all seven innings for the Bluejays (4-9). He was tagged with seven earned runs after five Charleston errors. Simmons, who went 2 for 4 with two RBIs at the plate, also struck out three and walked two on 110 pitches.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- The Wildcats scored one run in the final inning that allowed them to come away with the conference victory over the Hornets at Capaha Park.

Timmy Hector went the distance on the mound to take the win for Bloomfield (6-4-1, 3-1 SCAA Conference). He recorded 11 strikeouts, one walk and also doubled.

Dawson Mayo pitched a complete game to suffer the loss for Advance (4-9, 0-2). He gave up one unearned run, struck out eight and walked five.

Bloomfield travels to Leopold today.

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Devohn Foulk doubled and had two RBIs as the Red Devils burned the visiting Bobcats in five innings and notched their 10th win of the season.

Brennan Miller was the winning pitcher for Chaffee (10-2). He went one inning with one strikeout and one walk. Austin Copeland got on base both of his two times at bat and recorded three RBIs for the Red Devils.

Josh Statler was the losing pitcher for Delta (2-10). He allowed nine earned runs on four hits, walked five batters and had no strikeouts.

Chaffee travels to Dexter today.

MALDEN, Mo. -- The Indians were unable to score a single run or produce one hit in the five-inning conference loss to the Green Wave.

Austin Thomas pitched four innings to sustain the loss for Hayti (2-5, 0-4 Bootheel Conference). He gave up eight runs (one earned) on five hits, walked four batters and struck out one.

Ben French threw a complete game to take the win for Malden (4-7, 2-2). He had eight strikeouts and walked zero batters.

Cornell Kilgin had three RBIs for the Green Wave while Dee Triplett drove in two runs.

Hayti travels to Holcomb on Thursday while Malden returns to the field on the same day in the opening round of its home invitational tournament.

HILLSBORO, Mo. -- Neither team was able to put the ball in the net as the Hawks and Tigers tied in their second game of pool play in the Ninth Annual Hillsboro Tournament.

Kelly (7-3-2) is 0-0-2 in the tournament as the Hawks tied Hillsboro 0-0 in both teams' opening-round game on Monday. Kelly's last game of pool play will be at at 5:45 p.m. tonight against Ritenour.

FESTUS, Mo. -- The Sikeston tennis team was slightly edged by Festus on the road.

The Bulldogs picked up three singles wins by Brett Johnson, Bryce Miller and Warren Chinwuko and one doubles win between Miller and Will Leonard.
