Dorothy Shy

ORAN, Mo. -- Dorothy Evelyn Shy, 95, died Feb. 11, 2018.

Born March 8, 1922, in Grubbs, Ark., to the late Clarence and Ruth Holbrook Brewer, she worked on the family farm, in a hat factory and as a waitress.

Survivors include: her sons, Dan (Kittie) Shy, Larry (Linda) Shy and Sammy Shy all of Oran; and 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Shy; a sister Vivian Brewer; and a brother, Chris Brewer.

The family will gather privately to celebrate her life.
