BLOOMFIELD, Mo. - Glenda Haney, 81, died Sept. 17, 2016, at the Cypress Point Nursing Home in Dexter.

Born Jan. 1, 1935, in Charleston, to the late Connie Lawrence Lafayette and Ethel Tempe Burkett Moore, she lived most of her life in the Dexter and Bloomfield areas.

On Feb. 9, 1952, in Corinth, Miss., she married Alfred Haney, who preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 2004.

Surviving are: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Scott Haney of Bloomfield, Mike and Sheila Haney of Dexter and Jim and Carolyn Haney of Puxico; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Johnny Christian of Bloomfield; two brothers, Roy Moore of Benton and Jewel Moore of New Hamburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted Sunday at the Zion Cemetery near Puxico with the Rev. Steve Tippen of Bloomfield officiating,

Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements.
