Thomas Ray

SIKESTON - Thomas G. Ray, 67, died Nov. 22, 2016, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born July 27, 1949, in Sikeston, to the late Herman and Dixie (Helms) Ray, he worked at Noranda for 32 years before retiring.

On April 16, 1982, he married Cindy Baker. They were married 34 years and she survives of the home in Sikeston.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Dana Trimble and her husband, Ben, and Robert "Robbie" Ray all of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Teresa (Charlie) McGill of Sikeston and Brenda (David) Pinkley of Malden; four grandchildren, Hunter Ray, Jonathan (Alyssa) Lee, Benjamin Lee and Victoria Ray; and one great-grandchild, Harlow Ray; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Armetha Taylor and Tonnie Lambert.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at Ponder Funeral Home. Mike Parker will officiate.
