SIKESTON - Raymond Sauceda, 70, formerly of Oran, died Jan. 22, 2017, at the Convalescent Center in Sikeston.

Born March 3, 1946, in Nixon, Texas, to the late Vidal and Susie Valdez Sauceda, he was kitchen manager for 25 years at Lambert's Cafe in Sikeston. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran.

Survivors include: two sons, Roger Turner of Sikeston and Raymond Lynn Sauceda of Gulf Port, Miss.; a daughter, Denise Bennett of Dexter; four brothers, Eliso Sauceda, John Sauceda and Tommy Romas of Oran and Vidal Sauceda Jr. of Benton; six sisters, Mary Brown and Lupee Freeze of Red Banks, Miss., Josie Turner and Betty Guzman of Morley, Dora Graham of Sikeston and Sandra Doles of Oran; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Oran.

A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant.

Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Oran.
