CANALOU, Mo. -- Georgia Ruth Richardson, 84, died April 11, 2017, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born March 14, 1933, in Mayflower, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Millie Self Bowen.

Her husband, Amos Richardson, preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sarah Richardson; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include: nine sons, Bruce Bowen of Bloomfield, Eddie Vaughn of Canalou, Ronald Dean Vaughn of Malden, Donald Vaughn of Essex, Gary Vaughn of Doniphan, Jerry Vaughn of Leesville, La., David Richardson of Sikeston, Robert Richardson of Wardell and Amos Joe Richardson of Lilbourn; five daughters, Rebecca VanVickle of Ohio, Patricia VanVickle of Canalou, Lisa Ottinger of Springfield, Linda Stanton of Oran and Ruthie Vozar of Santa Cruz, Calif.; one brother, Richard Bowen of Festus; two sisters, Pearl Holt of Dexter and Gwen Bowen of Bernie; and 75 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at noon Thursday at Richards Funeral in New Madrid.

Burial will follow in the Matthews Cemetery.
