EAGLE POINT, Ore. -- M. Joan Happe Clark, 73, died Aug. 28, 2017.

Born June 26, 1944, in Farrenburg, Mo., daughter of the late Jake and Esther Farrenburg Happe, she was a member of the 1962 graduating class at Sikeston High School in Sikeston, Mo., and a member of the Eagle Point Golf Club in Eagle Point. She worked several years as a photographer and later as a clerical assistant in the Forensic Department at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

On June 30, 1985, she married Steve Clark, who survives of the home in Eagle Point.

In addition to her husband, survivors include: four sisters, Alice Happe and Betty Kelley of Sikeston, Barbara Happe of Lake Wappapello, Mo., and Kaye Hoffmaster of Missoula, Mont.; four brothers, Don Happe of Tulsa, Okla., Dickie Happe of Sikeston, Freddie Lee Happe of Lake Wappapello and Billy Jake Happe of Winter Haven, Fla.; two stepsons, Brady Clark of Portland and Chris (Barbara) Clark of Los Angeles; and two stepgranddaughters, Kaylee and Finley Clark of Portland.

A rosary will be recited at 8 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford, where a Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
