SIKESTON -- Agnes Mae Turner, 86, died Nov. 18, 2017, at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sikeston.

Born Sept. 21, 1931, in Posey County, Ind., to the late John and Agnes Emory Greenwell, she was the cafeteria manager for many years at Mount Vernon, Ind., Senior High School.

Her husband, the Rev. Paul E. Turner, preceded her in death in November 2002.

Survivors include: two sons, Jonathan E. Turner of Sikeston and Paul David Turner of Mount Vernon; one daughter, Esther Naomi Thompson-Long of Louisville, Ky.; two half brothers, Danny Greenwell of Imperial and Carl Greenwell of Festus; one sister, Ruby Grenco of Herrin, Ill.; and five grandchildren, one step grandchild and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Greenwell, Johnny Greenwell and Paul Greenwell; and one sister, Jean Knott.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene in Sikeston.. The Rev. Richard Stout, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, will officiate.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Mount Vernon.

Ponder Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
