POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Napoleon "Smokey" and "Nathaniel" Baker, 60, formerly of Sikeston, died, Jan. 21, 2018, in Poplar Bluff.

Born July 13, 1957, in Bell City, son of the late Walter Baker Sr. and Pauline Gray, he was of the Baptist belief and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was married to Lois Andrews of St. Louis.

Survivors include: three sons and one daughter-in-law, Demetrius Baker of Sikeston, Nathaniel and Amanda Baker of Nashville, Tenn., and Nathan Smith of New Madrid; two daughters, Tamara West of Chicago and Dimisha Turk of Sikeston; one brother, Sylvester Young of El Paso, Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Jan. 30 at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
