Passing inspection

Charleston High School JROTC received accreditation inspection from the 3rd Brigade U.S. Army Cadet Command. On Feb. 9, cadets and cadre received their Junior Program of Accreditation Inspection, which is designed to measure the effectiveness of a JROTC unit to meet the Army JROTC Mission of "Motivating Young People to be Better Citizens" while seeking new methods to improve the quality of each program. Areas that were evaluated were: in-ranks inspection, color guard and drill evaluation, continuous improvement plan and service learning briefs and cadet/cadre portfolios. The program received a grade of 87.5 percent.
