Karen Murphy

SIKESTON -- Karen Frances Murphy, 67, died Sept. 2, 2016, at Heritage Gardens Care Center in Sikeston.

She was born Feb. 27, 1949, in Morley, to the late Norman F. and Angeline Frances Woodward Murphy, and was a lifelong resident of this area.

She is survived by an aunt, Anna L. Jacobs of Cape Girardeau; and cousins, Donald E. Jacobs Jr. of Jackson, Sharon Williams of Cape Girardeau, Kathy Spain of Bradenton, Fla.; as well as other cousins.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Bryan Schaefer, pastor of Maple Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau, will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Old Morley Cemetery.
