Joshua Sullivan

SIKESTON - Joshua A. Sullivan, 38, died Sept. 2, 2016, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.

Born April 26, 1978, in Sikeston, to Patrick Sullivan of Clinton, Ky., and LuAnn Evans of Sikeston, he lived most his life in Sikeston. He volunteered at the Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau and worked as a truck driver.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: one son, William Sullivan of Fort Benning, Ga.; his stepfather, Shawn Evans of Sikeston; his paternal grandmother, Michilline Sullivan of Kentucky; and his companion and her children, Angie Hollifield and Nick and Alexis Hollifield of Jackson.

His paternal grandfather, LeRoy Sullivan, and maternal grandparents, Bill and Ava Allen, preceded him in death.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday.

Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Charleston.
