CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Rosemary Borders Pirtle, 64, died Sept. 25, 2016, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Nov. 12, 1951, at Charleston, to the late George Dewey and Nancy Oscille "Oscie" Fowler Borders, she had lived in Charleston her entire life.
Surviving are: four brothers, Billy Borders and Russell Borders of Charleston, Larry Borders of East Prairie and Jim Borders of Paducah, Ky.; two sisters, Frances Fox and Shirley Rice of Wichita Falls, Texas; and her lifelong friend, Linda Lane of Charleston.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pirtle; two sisters, Eunice Hudson and Louise Miller; and one infant brother, Marshall Dewey Borders.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the McMikle Funeral Home. The Rev. Rodney Dunlap of Charleston will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Mike Borders, Russell Borders, Jr., Billy Borders, Jim Borders, Tommy Langford and Larry Borders.
