SIKESTON -- Glenell "Nan" Curtis, 87, formerly of Conran, died June 22, 2017, at her home in Sikeston.
Born April 2, 1930, in Senath, daughter of the late Joe and Ethel Stanfield Palmer, she was a member of the Living Waters Church of Christ in Sikeston, where she loved attending services. She also loved crossword puzzles and watching Fox TV and being with her family.
On Aug. 26, 1947, in Piggott, Ark., she married Edward L. Curtis, who preceded her in death March 23, 1986.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Joe Wayne Palmer.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Sharon Curtis of Sikeston; two brothers, Melvin Palmer of Sikeston and Phillip Palmer of Arbyrd; two grandchildren, Christian (Sherry) Curtis of Sikeston and Courtney Curtis of Cape Girardeau; and three great-grandchildren, Lexi, Lane and Ann Claire Curtis of Sikeston.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time at 11:45 a.m. Monday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. The Rev. Maxie Shriver will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
