Dallas Lands

DELTA, Mo. -- Dallas L. Lands, 76, died July 19, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born on Feb. 21, 1941, in Randles, son of the late Thomas and Lucy Spain Lands, he was a retired chemical salesman for Beaver Janitorial Supply in Cape Girardeau. He was employed with Burlington Northern as a driver for their train crew and a member of the Arbor General Baptist Church in Arbor.

On May 28, 1960, he married Shirley Diggs, and she survives. Later he married Linda Bruce on Feb., 19, 2000, and she survives.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Keith and Sharon Lands of Delta and Chris Lands of Delta; a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Jerry Beck of Chaffee; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Jack Owens officiating.

Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery in Delta.
