EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Raymond Patrick, 72, died Sept. 15, 2017, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 10, 1945, in Dorena, to the late Robert Hearold and Quincy Dorthula Staggs Patrick, he had worked as a farmhand most of his life. He was a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Bertrand.
On Feb. 17, 1964, in East Prairie, he married Dorthey Jane Sterling who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, David Ray and Tammy Patrick of Charleston and Bobby Gene and Tracey Patrick of Kentucky; one daughter and son-in-law, Angela Jane Patrick and George Curtis of Charleston; four brothers, Larry Patrick of Dogwood, Robert Patrick, Richard Patrick and Jesee Patrick of East Prairie; nine sisters, Glenda Hedges of East Prairie, Polly Harris, Ellen Patrick and Phyllis Bennett of Colt, Ark., Joyce Boyer of Vibernum, Sheila Cobb of Bernie, Regina Dowdy of Dexter, Judy Keys of Louisiana and Kathy Bell of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Patrick.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston with the Rev. Tom Godwin, pastor of New Life Apostolic Church in Bertrand, officiating.
Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie.
