Members of the Southeast Missouri Homeland Security Response Team participate in a confined space rescue drill Wednesday at the Sikeston Power Station. The exercises, which were part of the team’s monthly training, consisted of confined space and high-angle rescues within the power plant. Comprised of members of Sikeston Technical Rescue Team, Cape Girardeau Technical Rescue, Jackson Technical Rescue and South Scott County EMS Technical Rescue, the team completed two scenarios where workers had either fallen or were trapped within the facility.
