WYATT, Mo. — Bonnie Jean Brumley, 87, died April 18, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Aug. 15, 1930, at Charleston, daughter of the late John R. and Vera G. Melton Lee, she had lived in Mississippi County her entire life. A graduate of Diehlstadt High School, she attended beauty school and upon her completion, she owned and operated Bonnie’s Beauty Shop in Wyatt for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Wyatt United Methodist Church and later became a member of the Charleston United Methodist Church.
On March 20, 1947, she married Clifton C. “Tootie” Brumley, who preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 1997.
Survivors include: three daughters, Jerris Crosier of East Prairie, Rita Gibson (Steve Wright) of Wyatt and Karen (Jay) Maxam of Naperville, Ill.; one sister, Blanche Brown of Tiptonville, Tenn.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son in law, Buddy Crosier.
Private burial was held at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
