Thursday, September 27, 2018

Three Rivers College is now accepting nominations for its 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award. The award recognizes the accomplishments and achievements of the College’s graduates and former students. The award will be given at a recognition reception hosted by the College in spring 2019. The nomination deadline for the award is November 14. Nominations can be submitted at trcc.edu/distinguished.

“Our Distinguished Alumni Award has become a highly anticipated honor to recognize outstanding former Three Rivers students,” said Michelle Reynolds, Director of Development at Three Rivers. “It’s always fun to see the nominations for the award, as there are so many alumni who give back in various ways to their community and Three Rivers.”

Reynolds noted that nominations submitted in previous years may be resubmitted for consideration for the 2019 award.

Nominations can be submitted by going to trcc.edu/distinguished and filling out the form provided there. Forms may also be mailed upon request. Nominees should be a graduate from or former student of Three Rivers College and will be judged on the merits of their personal and professional achievements. A committee drawn from College employees and the Three Rivers Endowment Trust will choose the winning nomination.

The 2018 Distinguished Alumni Award was awarded to Karon Campbell, a Qulin resident who owns and operates Tasteful Creations. Campbell also served as the keynote speaker at the College’s 2018 Commencement ceremony.
