SIKESTON — Ralph Sanders, age 67, passed away on Sept. 28, 2018, at his home near Sikeston.
Born March 12, 1951, in Columbia, Tenn., to the late Ralph N. and Betty (Norman) Sanders, Ralph was strong in the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Cookeville, Tenn., and a member of First Baptist Church in Sikeston, where he served as a Deacon.
He graduated from Tennessee Tech in Cookeville with a degree in Electrical Engineering and he was employed at Noranda Aluminum until his retirement.
On Nov. 29, 1992, at First Baptist Church in Sikeston, he married Melanie (Shell) Sanders who survives of the home.
He is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Megan Sanders of Grand Cayman Islands; one daughter and son-in-law, Patrice Roberts Denney and Joe Denney of Dittmer; one brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Paula Sanders of Columbia, Tenn.; and five grandchildren, Delia Roberts, Noah Roberts, Devin Denney, Drew Denney and Dylan Denney.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Andy Bumpus, minister of music, will officiate.
Ralph's earthly remains were donated to the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis, Tenn.
