Roberta Masterson

SIKESTON — Roberta Louise Masterson, 79, died Sept. 28, 2018, at her home in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 17, 1938, in Orlando, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Elsie Beal Robinson.

On July 29, 1956, in Houston, Texas, she married John Masterson, who preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 2009. She was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Survivors include: four daughters and three sons-in law, Debbie Zelenske of Conroe, Texas, Cindy and Rickey Fodge and Tenna and Edwin Maxwell of Sikeston and Teresa and Doug White of Puxico; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl Culbertson and son-in-law, Herbert Culbertson.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Steven Vester, pastor of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Sikeston, and Ira Sandefer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sikeston City Cemetery.
