Phyllis Stonecipher

SIKESTON — Phyllis Stonecipher, 66, died Nov. 25, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born April 18, 1952, in Sikeston, she was the daughter of the late Wesley (Buddy) and Maxine Slinkerd Lair.

In 1977, in Mount Vernon, Ill., she married Allan Stonecipher, who preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 2011.

Other survivors include: one sister and brother-in-law, Leslie and Jerry Hannig of Mount Vernon; her mother-in-law, Doris Stonecipher of Holcomb; nieces and nephews, David and Joanna Heick, Stephen and Debra Heick, Amie Weingartner and Russell Sanderson, Denise Faulkner and DJ Riddle, Danelle Hannig; cousins, Shari and Don Spellman, Crystal White, Diane and John Ellis; stepdaughter, Lori and Jamie Laramore and their children, Katie, Luke and Grace Laramore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jon D. Lair.

Her body was donated to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
