CHARLESTON, Mo. —Terri JoAnn “Terrann” Lawrence, 56, died Nov. 29, 2018, at her home. Born Aug. 4, 1962, in Wyatt, daughter of the late Thomas Williams and the late Verlene Lawrence, she was a 1981 graduate of the Charleston High School. CHARLESTON, Mo. —Terri JoAnn “Terrann” Lawrence, 56, died Nov. 29, 2018, at her home.

Born Aug. 4, 1962, in Wyatt, daughter of the late Thomas Williams and the late Verlene Lawrence, she was a 1981 graduate of the Charleston High School. She attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in education. She was employed as a teacher with Charleston Public Schools for over 20 years. She was a member of Opportunity Church of God in Christ in Charleston, where she served on the Mother’s Board.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Jeanette Lawrence.

Survivors include those she raised as her own, five sons, Eric Lawrence Jr. of Fort Smith, Ark., Jordan Lawrence of Cape Girardeau, Dalvin Lawrence of Charleston, Jamarterious Lawrence of San Antonio, Texas, and Christopher Lawrence of Ripley, Tenn.; three daughters, Sydney Lawrence Farries and Erica Lawrence of San Antonio and Toria Lawrence of Atlanta; four brothers, Lonnie Lawrence of Monee, Ill., Eric Lawrence of Sikeston, Chris Lawrence of Norfolk, Va., and James Lawrence of Charleston; and two sisters, Mary Lawrence of Charleston and LaQuita Lawrence of St. Louis.

Visitation is from noon until service time at 1 p.m. Saturday at Opportunity Church of God in Christ with Superintendent Steve Betts, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
